The National Union of Mold Services Professionals The National Union of Mold Service Professionals was founded to create a higher Standard of integrity, and ethical conduct to promote confidence, trust, and education in the eyes of the general public, forming a Union of professionals with a common philosophy of excellence with strength enough to legislate laws that will protect our industry and co-workers as a whole. As a card carrying Union member you’ll be able to present your business, and your business skills, beyond the average worker on the street enabling you to build confidence in your clients, in your work, and in your operational ethics. Where do my Union Dues go?
Union dues are used in several ways.
Medical Research
The Union supports medical research that ties mold and its components found in the environment, to the mold components and diseases in the human body caused by exposure to pathogenic fungi. This includes ongoing research of mycotoxins, 1-3 β –D Beta Glucans, DNA PCR sequencing, and researching the threshold of mold spore counts in the environment to the relationship of adverse health effects caused by mold exposure in the human body.
Legislation Support
The Union also supports and introduces legislation that will protect our industry and its workers as a whole, making sure members get the latest updates and alerts regarding all legal matters in legislation.
Public Awareness
